Spotlight – Records Maps, Stats & Analysis

As previously covered, SOMA Records is one of the most powerful apps in the SOMA Platform.  Each record type in SOMA Records is based on a configurable record schema that can be customized via drag-and-drop form building.

This insanely robust configurability, came as a directly result of the countless stories we have heard from agencies time-and-time again, “Our current vendor quoted us WAY to much for this records customization AND told us over a year or more to deliver.”  With SOMA Records, agency administrators can configure their own forms, or they can simply contact SOMA Support and one of our reps will handle it over the phone – most of the time, on-the-spot.

SOMA Records navigation and data analysis has recently been revamped and expanded to include a bunch of new features:

  • Integrated Records Maps – Coupled with every record type that includes an address or lat/long for automatic visualization of data on a map, data navigation and filtering through the map.
  • Configurable Records Stats – Stats are available for display on the landing page for each record type.
  • Calendar-based Records Display – For those record types that have point-in-time or time-window data, data can be displayed in month, week, day and agenda format.
  • Sync to ESRI Feature Layers – Want more advanced analytics?  Configure your record data to optionally sync to an ESRI feature layer to leverage rich ARCGIS analytics and reporting tools.

Check out the short video below on our new Records Management features including mapping data, data stats and data analytics.
